RHEINIAN WESTERWALD 

Only the name of this holiday area promises a lot. The romantic Rhine with its many wine-growing areas and the many castles and the Westerwald with its peaceful and shady forests where you can relax. 

NEUWIED
A nice city, located on the Rhine with the castle and castle park of the Fürsten zu Wied, the Rommersdorfer abbey, the impressive quay wall (to protect Neuwied against high tide, the zoo or just strolling through the city and shopping. 

Other places of interest at a relatively short distance: Koblenz with the "Deutsche Eck" and Ehrenbreitstein fortress. The Middle Rhine, which goes from Koblenz to Rüdesheim. Here you will find many castles and nice places that are worth a visit. Of course also the Moselle with its many lovely villages (including Cochum).
